The bed frame, headboard and slats arrive in 3 boxes. Relatively well packed. Should the installation guide be better written and with a better graphic presentation it should take no more than 2 hours to install. The slats are attached to the frame with wood screws, require an electric drill (32 screws). My bed arrive with a wood chip (in an out-of-site location) and some stain smudge. It does not feel rock solid but I think it will overall alright. Good value.
